Stockholm, Sweden – October 8th, 2024 – Fairpoint Capital, a leading Nordic B2B technology investor, is pleased to announce the successful first closing of its second fund, raising SEK 600 million. The new fund, Fairpoint Capital Fund II, will continue to support innovative Nordic companies built by passionate founders around fundamentally original engineering, in sectors such as enterprise software, AI, semiconductor technology, and security.

The SEK 600 million secured in this initial closing reaffirms Fairpoint’s commitment to driving technological innovation by supporting the region’s most promising entrepreneurs. Fund II will build on the success of the firm’s first fund, which has backed 16 groundbreaking startups that have gone on to achieve significant growth and market impact.

Fairpoint Capital will continue its hands-on approach to partnering with founders, leveraging its deep network and industry expertise to accelerate the success of its portfolio companies.

“We are thrilled by the strong support from our existing and new investors, which enables us to continue our mission of fostering innovation in the Nordic tech ecosystem,” said Frederick Johansson, Managing Partner at Fairpoint Capital. “With this second fund, we aim to build on the momentum we’ve established through the first fund and further our contribution to the growth and success of transformative technology companies in the Nordics.”

Fairpoint Capital Fund II will remain open for additional investors until December 2025. This extended window offers additional investors, such as pension funds, family offices, and corporate investors, the opportunity to join the fund as it continues to support the next generation of leading tech companies in the region.
